Philosophy
The Peaceful Pill eHandbook is the product of more than a decade of hands-on research, development & teaching in the area of end-of-life strategies by Australian physician & scientist, Dr Philip Nitschke.

The PPeH has been written for Seniors (& those who are seriously ill). In most western countries, the good death movement is expanding rapidly; those approaching their latter years want to know their end-of-life options. As with any field, access to correct, accurate & up-to-date information is critical to being able to make informed, rational decisions & choices, should the need ever arise.
The PPeH is made available in order to empower the individual in their end-of-life choices, regardless of the status of Assisted Suicide/ Voluntary Euthanasia laws in their country.
In an age where those in the West are living longer but sicker lives, & where we are more likely to die slowly of illness or old age itself, Exit International views a well considered end-of-life plan an important part of life-planning (just like funeral plans).
In The Peaceful Pill eHandbook, the authors provide the reader with a range of end-of-life choices designed to enable the best decisions to be made for each individual's unique circumstances.
Remember, ending one’s life is legal. Asking a loved one to assist you is illegal & can attract harsh penalties including imprisonment.
At Exit International, we believe that with knowledge comes self-determination & that means a good life AND a good (and lawful) death.
