Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Online Privacy Statement describes how we treat user data collected during your visit to the Peaceful Pill Handbook site. The Peaceful Pill Handbook site is www.peacefulpill.com or peacefulpillhandbook.com, and includes all web pages whose domain name contains peacefulpill.com. This is not the online privacy statement for other Exit International websites that don’t contain these domain names. Neither is it the online privacy statement for other websites (e.g. blogs or social networking sites) where Exit has a presence, such as the Peaceful Pill forums.

Privacy and the Internet

The Internet, generally speaking, is not currently a private place. As you visit websites, use search engines, and conduct business on the Internet, many different companies and organizations are gathering information about your online behavior by tracking your searches, visits, and transactions, and then by matching that data with other information about you. There are some things you can do to prevent your information from being collected.  A good need-to-know summary is published by the ACLU. You can read this at: Easy Steps Everyone Can Take to Protect Their Digital Privacy

Exit International takes many steps to protect your privacy when you visit the Exit International website. In order to provide you with a better experience while you are on the Peaceful Pill Handbook Site, we do allow some tracking to take place. How and when we do so is explained below.

EU General Data Protection Regulation

Data Security

When you subscribe to the Peaceful Pill eHandbook or purchase a print book, your data is stored on Exit’s internal encrypted database server hosted in Australia, as well as – where applicable – within the Yudu technology platform in order to provide access to your subscription. A third source of data storage is the online payment gateways used by Exit, namely Stripe, Mollie & Godaddy. A fourth source of data storage and use may be the Peaceful Pill forums (should you join). Each of these services provides built-in security ensuring safe storage and use of data provided by you to Exit, directly or indirectly.
